Poster submission & competition

Poster submission

Participants who have already registered are welcome to submit posters. In order to be accepted, the posters have to present relevant research work, nutrition-related. The research fields include experimental or clinical nutrition, nutrition biochemistry and molecular biology, nutrition-related public health and health policies, nutrition-related epidemiology and surveys, methods, case studies or any other aspects that can be related to nutrition.

Poster submission deadline is Friday, March the 21st, 2025. Any poster submission past the deadline will not be accepted.

The posters will follow the template that is available here (to download): Poster Template to be used

The poster’s content should be in English and reflect original research unpublished yet in a peer reviewed journal or scientific book.

Only one poster is allowed for a given registered participant.

Once the poster’s content is final, save it as PDF and submit it by email at contact@srsn.ro with the following details:

  • Email title: “SSN Congress 2025 – Poster submission – Competition 1” or “SSN Congress 2025 – Poster submission – Competition 2”. See below how to decide which poster competition is fit for you.

  • If you choose Competition 2 you must attach in the email any proof that you are still an active student. Note: a student may choose Competition 1 if he or she considers that the complexity of the work presented is comparable to that of other professionals.

  • In the email text body: a message (written either in English or Romanian) to convey that this is a poster submission for the congress, along with the name of the submitter. The poster submitter SHOULD be the same with the person who had already registered as a participant to the congress. The submitter should be the first author for that poster.
